We stayed at La Massa at the end of June for a few days relaxation. The villa really is a home from home – only with better weather and beautiful scenery.
The photos accurately represent the high standard of furnishings and wonderful facilities, what they cannot convey however is the warm welcome we received from Danny and Peter. Our hosts were ever-attentive but never obtrusive, nothing was too much trouble and they provided a wealth of information on places to visit and where to eat in the local area.
We’d definitely advise having a car while staying at La Massa as there are so many lovely villages and small towns to visit, and Florence is only an hour away.
La Massa is perfect whether you just want to relax or explore the sights. It’s location, with views across the valley, is just superb. The pool area was certainly a bonus both to sunbathe and take a refreshing dip.
We’ve had no hesitation in recommending this wonderful villa to several friends and can also recommend a stay at Danny and Peter’s B&B in the heart of Florence. Do try to book early and we’re sure that, like us, you will become repeat visitors to this little piece of paradise.
